  • At Spray, is spray tanning safe?

    DHA is the active ingredient in the spray tan products we use. It is approved by the FDA for external use.

  • Is there a difference between Spray’s mobile operations and the store?

    Besides operating out of our Castle Rock, CO location, we offer in-home studio and house calls. We provide an automated booth experience. 

  • Do I have to remove my clothes?

    At spray, that’s your decision. Your comfort is our top priority, so we encourage you to do what feels right for you. Our professional airbrush artists won’t judge your body type. 

  • What if I don't want to undress?

    Spray recommends that you wear black undergarments or pasties if you aren't comfortable being naked during your service. If you do this, you will have tan lines. 

  • What products does Spray use?

    We use Norvell solutions in clear and bronzed options.

  • What is the Fitzpatrick Scale and what does it mean for my spray tan?

    The scale is used by dermatologists to assess your risk of skin cancer. Knowing where you fall on the scale will help identify the right tanning solution for you.

  • Will I turn orange with a tan from Spray?

    Rest assured that we’ll conduct a color consult with you ahead of time to avoid an unnatural-looking tan.

  • Will I look like the Ross (Friends) spray tan meme?

    The episode was filmed during the early days of spray tan technology. You may count on our professional artists to help you avoid an unnatural-looking results.

    No, Spray never will install UV tanning beds. We’re committed to safe tanning.
